This fishery was created in 1989 by Raphael Faraggi and it was the first Commercial Specimen Lake created in France.
The lake is 86 acres in size and has 45 swims. It has fantastic history holding 8 World Records registered by the International Sport Fishing Federation and having hosted twice the World Carp Cup.
Mark Walsh has took over the management at the end of 2021 spending a full year to remake all newer and better (the hotel, swims and access all around the lake have been totally re-done).
FISHABIL is renowned as the best RUNS water, with incomparable stocking levels which has been improved every year with receipts to back up this statement, using only the finest Pisicultures (fish farmers) in the country.
A management plan of our fish stocks has been put into place that will enable anglers of all levels to enjoy fantastic fishing for now and the coming years.
Plans for 2023 are a substantial feeding program, working closely with Le Gouessant and their expertise, advice and products to bring on the weights of our beautiful carp and other species in lake FISHABIL.
We will be carrying on our liming program through out the winter months and the usual maintenance around the grounds to make your fishing holiday as comfortable and memorable as possible.
